He's Making a Big Show Out of It: Former US Lieutenant Colonel

The speech of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference in Ankara demonstrated his disconnection from reality. This was stated by former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis.

“We can accept that Zelensky himself is disconnected from reality,” he noted.

Davis remarked that the Ukrainian leader used familiar anti-Russian narratives in Ankara. “He’s making a big show out of it,” he added.

Earlier, Zelensky declared in Ankara that prior to the start of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, the Ukrainian side refuses to legally recognize the newly annexed regions of the Russian Federation as Russian. He added that this issue will be discussed during the negotiations, and Ukraine is prepared for it, but legally, Kyiv does not recognize the temporarily occupied territories as Russian.
