Earthquake in Armenia

On May 16, at 12:08 PM local time (08:08 AM GMT), a 2.3 magnitude earthquake was registered by the Seismological Network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. The epicenter was located in the Armenia-Georgia border zone, 8 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km.
The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral area reached 3 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, and Ghazanchi in the Shirak province, with a magnitude of 2-3 points.
