Criminal Proceedings Initiated Following Soldier's Death

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 550, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code (military negligence resulting in a person's death) following the death of a conscript who was electrocuted. An investigation is underway.

This was announced to Auroranews by the Investigative Committee, adding that a forensic examination of the body has been scheduled.

Earlier, it was reported that on May 13 at around 10:30, a soldier of the RA Ministry of Defense’s N military unit, Karen Edgar Avetisyan, died due to electrocution under still unknown circumstances.
