Khachatur Abovyan MP Addressed Azerbaijani Gunfire

Khachatur Abovyan MP Arman Yeghoyan expressed hope that the Armenian people have strong nerves and will not succumb to Azerbaijani provocations. During a conversation with reporters, he stated, “The gunfire also aims to disrupt public peace in our society.”

The MP pointed out that he hopes journalists will not contribute to the disruption of public order. When asked how they should contribute, he responded, “By spreading panic.”

“For example, when our beloved ‘Freedom’ radio station goes and says, ‘Oh, the village is emptying, children are being removed from schools en masse,’ and similar panic-inducing news,” Yeghoyan noted. Journalists urged the MP not to target the media outlet.
