They Helped Kyiv Prepare for This War: Zakharova

The same countries that previously admitted to using the Minsk agreements to buy time in favor of Kyiv are now seeking a 30-day ceasefire to restore the combat readiness of the Kyiv regime. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“Berlin and Paris helped Kyiv prepare for this war. In 2022, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and former French President Francois Hollande stated that no one intended to implement the Minsk agreements, and that those agreements were necessary to gain time for Ukraine to get ready to solve the 'Donbas issue' by force against Russia,” Zakharova said in a comment published on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website.
