Modi Makes First Public Statement After 'Sindhur' Operation

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has announced that strikes towards Pakistan as part of the 'Sindhur' military operation have been halted for now. He stated that Delhi's future actions will depend on Islamabad's conduct.

“India has ceased its strikes against Pakistan and will act in accordance with Pakistan's actions,” Modi said in his first public statement following the launch of the 'Sindhur' operation.

According to the Prime Minister, negotiations with Pakistan can only proceed on issues related to terrorism and the return of Kashmir, which is under Pakistani control. “Nothing else,” Modi emphasized.
