The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never strived, does not strive, and will not strive to develop nuclear weapons.
"We negotiate because we seek peace, however, the proposal to completely abandon all of Iran's nuclear facilities is unacceptable to us. Iran has never developed and does not develop nuclear weapons, rejecting such developments for religious reasons. Nevertheless, nuclear technologies and the achievements of our scientists are utilized in peaceful nuclear energy, affecting various sectors including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, ecology, and industry. We will resolutely continue our peaceful nuclear activities," explained the President of Iran.
