Pakistan Recognizes the Catastrophic Consequences

Pakistan acknowledges the catastrophic consequences of further escalation with India in the context of rising tensions between two nuclear states. This was stated by officials from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"For the sake of regional peace and stability, Pakistan has taken a very responsible, measured, and mature response. The country recognizes the disastrous effects of escalating relations between two nuclear powers. This is absolutely unimaginable. Any trend towards this dangerous path carries disastrous consequences for the entire region and beyond, therefore we must avoid such an approach," the Foreign Ministry officials stated.

They added that all elements of national authority remain committed to ensuring Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"Our armed forces are obliged to take all necessary measures to protect the homeland, its citizens, and to contribute to the securing of Pakistan's vital national interests. This commitment is a sacred duty of Pakistan's proud, resilient, courageous, and honorable people," the ministry declared.
