India Opens Chenab River Dam's Water Gate

India has opened the water gate of the Chenab River dam, allowing water to flow into Pakistan. This comes in the context of a ceasefire agreement.

It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to establish a complete and immediate ceasefire. Earlier, it was reported that on April 24, India had ceased water supply to Pakistan from the Indus River for the first time since the signing of a historic agreement on the waters of the Indus River in 1960 by closing all four dams.
