Fire at Rio Mall

On May 9, at 16:03, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that smoke was visible from the roof of the "Rio Mall" shopping center in Yerevan. Firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched six emergency teams, one ladder truck, and operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center's division for organizing fire suppression and rescue operations to the scene.

According to preliminary information, the fire is occurring on the exterior cladding of the ventilation system.
