Every Officer and Volunteer to be Called Up: Indian Ministry of Defence

The Indian government has authorized the country's army commander to call up volunteer reserves into the Territorial Army to support the Indian Armed Forces, reports Press Trust of India.

"The Territorial Army is being summoned to provide necessary security and assistance to the regular army," states the announcement.

Additionally, the Indian government has empowered the Chief of Army Staff to call up "every officer and every volunteer."
