This is a Just Move by Kyiv, Says Zelensky

On the eve of Victory Day, Ukraine's massive drone strikes on Russian territories are a "just" move by Kyiv. This was stated by Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.

“It is fair that the Russian airspace is also in turmoil,” he said.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that, within 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had lost 524 drones targeting various regions. Additionally, Russian air defense systems had destroyed five long-range Neptune cruise missiles, two HIMARS rocket system shells, and six JDAM guided bombs.

The Kremlin claimed that Kyiv is demonstrating its propensity for terrorist actions through these attacks. Simultaneously, the former head of the anti-aircraft forces of the special operations command of the Russian Aerospace Forces, retired Colonel Sergey Khatilov, stated that some of the Ukrainian drones are launched from Russian territory.
