Fantastic Sathi-Colored Crystal Discovered in Yakutia

The diamond mining company Alrosa has extracted the largest gem-quality diamond in the history of the country. A fantastic sathi-colored crystal weighing 468.30 carats and measuring 56x54x22 mm has been found in Yakutia. This was announced in the company’s press release.

“To date, this is the largest gem-quality diamond mined in Russia. It is symbolic that it was discovered in the year marking the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. For this reason, we have decided to name it in honor of such a significant event for our entire country,” said the company's CEO Pavel Marinichev. He added that 2025 will undoubtedly hold a special place in the history of Russia's diamond industry.
