We Are Pulling Back 15 Km, the Russians 15 Km as Well: Kellogg
The U.S. President's Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, presented the idea of creating a temporary demilitarized zone between Ukraine and Russia during a Fox News broadcast, which would be monitored by both parties.
He noted that Ukraine is ready to establish such a zone. “They are willing to create a demilitarized zone for a certain period. They said they are pulling back 15 km, and the Russians 15 km as well. This creates a 30 km neutral zone that is strictly monitored. Violations can be tracked. If peace can be maintained for 30 days, I believe it can be extended. As a military person, I will say it is difficult to restart a war after a ceasefire. I do not think they will start fighting again,” Kellogg stated.
