Rubio Calls on India and Pakistan

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had separate phone conversations on Tuesday with India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Pakistan's National Security Advisor, Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Muhammad Asim Malik. This was reported on the State Department's X page.

"Earlier today, Secretary Rubio spoke via phone with the national security advisors of India and Pakistan. He urged both to maintain channels of communication and avoid escalation," the U.S. foreign policy agency stated.
