Zakharova Comments on Incident in Nor Nork
It is difficult for me to imagine how it could even be made up that any disturbances occurred in any administrative district of Armenia, supposedly involving the Russian embassy. I can hardly conceive how this could happen. This was stated today, May 6, by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a press briefing.
She responded to a question from an Armenian journalist regarding an incident in one of Yerevan's administrative districts, whose head, according to the journalist, accused the Russian embassy of involvement.
“I have a counter-question for those who tried to push this entire story towards Russia: do they have any evidence? For example, Biden and his entire team, including Clinton, concocted a story about Russian hackers interfering in their lives. It later turned out that all of that was a lie. Someone invented a story about 'Novichok.' How could this happen from the perspective of those who started blaming Russia or the Russian embassy, as you said, for the disturbances or certain problems that arose? I'm just curious. Well, this is really interesting. I've already heard a lot. I have not yet heard about administrative districts. This is the first time,” said Zakharova.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “this is simply an attempt to resolve internal political issues through certain external factors.”
