Now the Obstacle is Putin: Kellogg

The U.S. President's Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has announced that Ukraine has agreed to a comprehensive ceasefire proposed by the American side.

According to him, the main obstacle to the ceasefire now is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“They (the Ukrainians) have agreed that a comprehensive ceasefire is necessary on land, at sea, and in the air for 30 days, which can be extended; that’s what they want today. We returned from London two weeks ago, and spoke with the coalition of the determined, led by the British, French, and Germans, who are ready for this comprehensive ceasefire with multiple conditions. And the Ukrainians agree to this,” Kellogg said.

It was also noted that Ukraine is not satisfied with all the conditions. “I think we are close. The only person who can do this is President Trump. But only if Putin agrees. I believe that right now, our biggest obstacle to progress is the President of Russia, who does not agree,” Kellogg added.
