They No Longer Want War. We Are Halting Bombing. Trump
The United States is halting its bombing in Yemen. This was announced by U.S. President Donald Trump during a press briefing, as reported by TASS.
“We received very good news yesterday. The Houthis have announced that they no longer wish to fight. And we respect that. We will stop the bombings,” he stated.
According to the U.S. president, they have also announced that they will cease attacks on ships.
“I will take them at their word. And we are stopping the bombing against the Houthis immediately,” Trump declared.
Earlier, it was reported that the U.S. and Israel had jointly targeted the city of Hodeidah and Yemen's capital Sana'a, which are under the control of the Houthis, in response to missile attacks against Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport and threats to completely halt civilian flight operations to Israel.
