That Victory Was Only Thanks to Us: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his belief that America made the most significant contribution to the victories in the world wars, reports RIA Novosti.

“We have won two world wars, but we have never considered ourselves deserving of it. The entire world celebrates our victory in World War II. The only country that does not celebrate is the United States, and that victory was only thanks to us,” Trump stated.

Previously, President Donald Trump had declared May 8 as Victory Day, noting that the U.S. had done much more than other countries to win World War II. However, he did not declare it a public holiday, explaining that “there are already many holidays in America.”
