For Confirmation of Information, We Need to Speak with the Armenian Side: Zakharova
Prime Minister Pashinyan has been invited to the Victory Day celebrations. This was announced during a press briefing by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to TASS.
"I think it is a known fact that Nikol Vovaevich Pashinyan has been invited to the solemn events along with other leaders of the CIS, and as we understand, he is planning to come. However, for the confirmation of this information, it is necessary to establish contact with the Russian presidential administration and, of course, with the Armenian side," Zakharova stated.
Regarding the participation of military personnel, she added, "In general, I mentioned that participation of military personnel from different countries is planned, but for specifics, one must appeal to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as they are in charge of the preparation and implementation of the parade."
It is worth noting that earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced that sending military personnel from 'neutral' countries to participate in the Moscow parade on May 9 would be viewed as a violation of their 'neutrality.'
