Russia must give it up, says Trump

US President Donald Trump insists that Russia's leadership will have to relinquish the Ukrainian territories it has seized in order to reach a peace agreement.

“Russia will have to give up all of Ukraine. Because Russia wants all of Ukraine. And if I didn’t intervene, they would fight for all of Ukraine. Russia does not want the territory it currently has; it wants all of Ukraine,” said the US president in an interview with NBC News, responding to a question about whether Moscow would make concessions and retain at least one of the territories under its control.
