Pakistan Will Definitely Respond: Pakistani Foreign Ministry

Pakistan will respond decisively in the event of aggression against it. This was stated by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“If any act of aggression or provocation occurs, it is clear that like any other country, we have the right to self-defense, which is in line with the UN Charter,” he stated. The diplomat emphasized that Pakistan “desires peace, but at the same time, has the capacity to deter any aggression.”
