Our Army Will Give an Adequate Response: Pakistan's Foreign Ministry
Pakistan is committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region, stated General Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the head of the Inter-Services Public Relations of the Islamic Republic, as reported by TASS.
“Pakistan is a peaceful country, and we desire peace in the region, but our army is prepared to give an adequate response to the enemy in case of aggression,” he said.
Additionally, Pakistan's Information Minister Ataullah Tarar delivered a separate speech reaffirming the state's stance on the pursuit of peace, as well as readiness for defense.
It is noteworthy that following the terrorist attack in northern Jammu and Kashmir, India has taken several measures against Pakistan. India and Pakistan have reduced the number of diplomatic missions, prohibited each other's ships from entering their ports, declared a halt to trade, and canceled visas for each other's citizens.
