I Do Not Intend to Take on the Role of Judge: Avinyan

Any form of violence, whether physical, verbal, insult, or provocation, is unacceptable. This was stated by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

He referred to an incident that occurred days ago at the Nor Nork community administration. "Every employee of the Yerevan municipality, particularly the heads of administrative districts, who are representatives of the Yerevan Mayor in their respective districts, must demonstrate restraint in all circumstances. Provocations are always present, they exist everywhere and will always exist. Constantly, someone will say a lie about some issue, and we can definitely perceive that lie as a provocation," Avinyan said.

According to the mayor, he does not intend to assume the role of a judge: "There is a criminal case, and its essence shows that there is also a second side nonetheless. Individuals involved under the article on hooliganism are being prosecuted."
