10 Properties and Large Sum to Be Seized from Former Vedi Leader

The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the latest lawsuit from the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding the confiscation of illegally acquired property. The department dealing with confiscation cases has requested the court to seize from Varujan Hakobi Barselyan, the former head of the Vedi community in the Ararat region, and related parties on behalf of the Republic of Armenia:

• 10 properties located in Vedi city, Ararat region,
• participation in 3 legal entities,
• 40 million 836 thousand drams as the remainder of illegally acquired income.
