US-Ukraine Agreement Signed
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the President of Ukraine, has announced that the agreement does not contain obligations for the United States to compensate for previously provided military assistance. He emphasized that the agreement secures Ukraine's European integration, while oil, gas, lithium, and other resources remain the property of Ukraine.
Podolyak added that all investment revenues will be reinvested in Ukraine at least until 2034. He also noted that as a result of the agreement, the US has become a co-investor in Ukraine, which, according to him, demonstrates Ukraine's ability to negotiate with global powers on equal terms.
“Moscow has lost. Putin's attempt to offer the United States a share in the mineral wealth of occupied Donbas has failed,” Podolyak emphasized. This agreement is an important step for Ukraine in strengthening its defense capabilities and economic independence without incurring debt obligations.
