Turkey Will Become a Global Player: Erdoğan

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the Istanbul Natural Resources Summit. The President reminded that Turkey holds an important position in the global energy system, as reported by TASS.

“Thanks to our natural resources, geography, and large hydrocarbon reserves, we play a key role in ensuring supply. Turkey's energy security is a matter that touches the whole world,” he stated.

Speaking on the development of extraction, Erdoğan announced that the country has surpassed daily oil production records. “Turkey will become a global player in the exploration of natural gas and oil fields,” emphasized the Turkish President. In conclusion, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underscored that “Turkey has become a reliable hub in Europe amid energy crises; this is not a coincidence.”
