Aircraft Sends Distress Signal in Bolivia: Plane Missing
Ofelya
A Cessna 172CP aircraft has gone missing in northern Bolivia with five people on board, including a child, as reported by the country's President Luis Arce on his Telegram channel.
Authorities have already involved military personnel in search operations. “The aircraft disappeared while flying between the town of Baures in the Beni department and the city of Trinidad,” the president wrote.
The Bolivian Civil Aviation Authority indicated that the pilot of the missing plane sent a distress signal on April 30, after which communication ceased.
