A Planet Could Be Hit by a Soviet Spacecraft
Edita
Nearly half a century after its launch, the Soviet spacecraft 'Kosmos-482' is back in the spotlight. Scientists warn that this spacecraft, launched in 1972, may hit the Earth's surface in the coming weeks.
'Kosmos-482' was intended to head towards Venus, but due to a technical malfunction during launch, it never reached its destination and remained in Earth's orbit. Now, over 50 years later, the device has begun to gradually descend.
Where and exactly when this metallic sphere will fall is still unclear. However, current calculations suggest it could enter the atmosphere as early as next week.
