You Know Well What the US Armed Forces Are Capable Of: Defense Minister Threatens Iran

The US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, has stated that Iran will be held accountable for its support of Yemen's Houthi insurgents, known as the 'Ansar Allah' movement.

'Message to Iran: We see your lethal support for the Houthis. We know exactly what you are doing. You know well what the US military is capable of, and you have been warned. There will be consequences for you at a time and place of our choosing,' he wrote on X.

On March 15, the United States began launching massive strikes against Houthi targets, who control approximately one third of Yemen's territory. The operation is aimed at protecting American interests and ensuring the freedom of navigation, according to the US Central Command.

In response, Ansar Allah has repeatedly targeted the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier in the Red Sea region with missiles and drones.
