Musk Departs from the White House

I just want to thank everyone. It was an honor to work with you all. This was stated by Elon Musk, head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to Trump at the White House, according to The New York Times.

"I just want to thank everyone. It was an honor to work with you, so thank you for everything. In the first 100 days, we achieved incredible successes. As everyone said, it’s more than any previous administration has accomplished," Musk said.

In response, the President stated that Musk had indeed sacrificed a lot to work in his administration and that he had been treated "very unfairly" during his time. "The overwhelming majority of people in this country truly respect and appreciate you, and this entire room can decisively say that you have really helped us a lot. You can stay as long as you want," Trump added.
