Mike Waltz Removed from Office

Donald Trump’s national security advisor Mike Waltz and his deputy Alex Wong may be leaving their positions. This was reported by Fox News.

According to the television network, Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff is the leading candidate for the position of assistant to the President on national security.

Waltz has been removed from his position along with other staff from the National Security Council due to a scandal involving the leak of information on Signal. He mistakenly added journalist Jeffrey Goldberg on Signal, where very sensitive operational preparations were discussed.
