Israel to Deliver Devastating Blow: Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, has announced that the military is prepared to deliver a devastating strike against the radical Palestinian Hamas movement in the near future, according to the Times of Israel.

“The terrorists of Hamas are still holding our 59 brothers and sisters hostage. The Israel Defense Forces are ready to deliver a decisive blow to the radicals. We will utilize all forces at our disposal, increase the pace of operations, and enhance their power,” he stated.

Additionally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that the “ultimate goal” of military operations in Gaza is the destruction of Hamas.
