Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement

The spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei, has condemned the new package of sanctions imposed by Washington against Tehran and its partners for cooperation in the trade and economic sector. This was stated in a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that Washington has expanded sanctions against Iranian oil and vessels that are allegedly used for its transport. The U.S. sanctions target two companies and two related vessels that are purportedly involved in the logistics of Iranian oil transportation.
