Charges Filed Against Arthur Chakhoyan

Blogger Arthur Chakhoyan has been charged with hooliganism. This was announced by his lawyer Vahe Yeprikyan.

“A public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Arthur Chakhoyan under the second part of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, on the grounds of hooliganism,” the lawyer reported.

It is noteworthy that the Yerevan City Hall, in response to the incident, stated that violence in any form is unacceptable. A criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the incident that occurred in the administrative staff of the Nor Nork district.
