Uitkof Talks About Putin's Desire

US Special Representative Steve Uitkof has stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin sees an opportunity to reshape the relationship between Moscow and Washington. His words were reported by The Hill.

“I think for the first time in decades, Putin sees an opportunity to rethink the relationship between the Russian Federation and the United States, and that’s evident,” Uitkof said.

Trump's representative reminded that he has had four meetings with the Russian president, and none of them lasted less than three hours.

On the previous day, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that Steve Uitkof tried to convince President Vladimir Putin to agree on a ceasefire along the current frontlines during his last visit to Russia, but the head of state allegedly rejected this proposal.
