Trump Has News on Migrant Deportations
The United States Postal Service's (USPS) enforcement unit has joined efforts to identify and detain illegal migrants, marking a new step in President Donald Trump's administration's extensive deportation campaign, according to the Washington Post.
"The law enforcement unit of the USPS has begun secretly collaborating with federal immigration services to locate individuals who are allegedly undocumented in our country," the report states. According to the publication, the Postal Inspection Service, which was previously mainly responsible for protecting postal infrastructure, has joined a special interagency task force linked to the Department of Homeland Security, tasked with searching for and deporting illegal immigrants.
