Criminal Prosecution Initiated Against Artush Gabrielyan: Lawyer Eric Aleksanyan

Criminal prosecution has been initiated against Artush Gabrielyan, confirmed by his lawyer Eric Aleksanyan.

The Anti-Corruption Committee's investigators conducted a search at Gabrielyan's office, after which the Attorney General submitted a request to the Supreme Judicial Council for permission to initiate criminal prosecution against the judge and to detain him.

It is recalled that the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports cases of bribing, receiving bribes, and assisting in the reception of bribes under the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code. Today, within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings at the Anti-Corruption Committee, evidentiary actions were conducted with the participation of a representative of the judicial authority in the Shengavit premises of the first instance general jurisdiction criminal court in Yerevan.
