Arthur Chakhoyan Released

Arthur Chakhoyan has been released from illegal detention. He will continue to remain hospitalized at the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, as reported by his lawyer Vahe Yeprikyan.

“I expect an adequate investigation from the investigative bodies regarding the charges of torture, causing bodily harm, and hooliganism, with appropriate legal qualifications against the district head of Nor Nork and his apparent accomplices. Even if the evidently criminal district head is dismissed for the sake of democratic rhetoric, he must still face criminal liability, which we will definitely pursue,” he wrote.
