Turkey Refutes Claims of Sending Weapons to Pakistan
Ofelya
The Turkish Ministry of Defense has officially denied reports in several media outlets claiming that Ankara has sent six aircraft loaded with weapons and ammunition to Pakistan. This was reported by ermenihaber.am.
According to the ministry's statement, only one cargo plane that departed from Turkey landed in Pakistan for refueling before continuing its flight along the designated route.
It is noteworthy that there has been a variety of information circulating recently regarding the deepening military cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan; however, official sources from both countries deny most of these claims.
