Peskov: France Is Not Offended by This Fact

It appears that in France, they are not offended by listening to the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, while commenting on French President Emmanuel Macron's statements regarding exerting pressure on Russia, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“It seems that in France they are not offended by listening to President Putin’s statements, unfortunately. President Putin has repeatedly stated that Russia is ready to start the negotiation process without any preconditions. We have yet to hear Kyiv’s response,” Peskov said.

The presidential press secretary noted that Macron's statement confirms that Europe still prefers to determine its stance on the continuation of the war.

It should be recalled that French President Emmanuel Macron had declared that he had convinced the United States to make Russia accept a ceasefire.
