India Determines Format and Timelines for Possible Response

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held an urgent consultation on national security issues, reports Lenta.ru. The meeting included Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of the Army Staff General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Army Commander General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, and Chief of Air Staff Marshal Amar Preet Singh.

As a result of the meeting, the Indian government leader has empowered the commanders to independently determine the format, timelines, and objectives for a possible response. Modi emphasized that delivering a decisive blow to terrorism remains one of the top priorities on the national agenda.

It is noteworthy that the Pakistani Defense Minister has pointed out that tensions between India and their country have reached alarming levels.
