General Killed in Explosion was Responsible for Materials, Says Russian Defense Ministry

The deputy head of the General Operations Department of the Russian General Staff, Yaroslav Moskalyk, was responsible for monitoring the war situation in Ukraine. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to RIA Novosti.

“Lieutenant General Moskalyk was also responsible for preparing materials for President Putin and the Minister of Defense,” the statement said.

It is noteworthy that on April 25, Moskalyk's vehicle was detonated near his home, resulting in the 59-year-old general's death on the spot.
