Destructive Role of That Country in Escalation of Conflict is Significant: Zakharova

Russia has negatively assessed Germany's destructive role in the escalation of the Ukrainian conflict and has called on Berlin to cease the killing of Ukrainian citizens. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Russia’s assessments are negative. The destructive role of Germany in the escalation of the Ukrainian crisis is significant, and we urge Berlin to stop the killing of Ukrainian citizens by supplying weapons to the neo-Nazi regime in Kyiv,” Zakharova said.

Earlier, the German Foreign Ministry had announced that Germany is calling on Russia to agree to a permanent ceasefire instead of the ceasefire declared during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of victory.
