We Are Connected on Both Sides: Pezeshkian

The development of relations between Iran and Azerbaijan is of great importance. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in an interview with AZTV.

“Azerbaijan and Iran, as neighbors, can provide great assistance to one another,” he said. He emphasized that to build healthy relations between the countries, it is necessary to expand cooperation as well as develop scientific and cultural ties between universities.

“We are connected on both sides, we are compatriots. Mutual visits contribute to the strengthening of ties. Therefore, we need to open pathways to facilitate mutual travel,” Pezeshkian stated.

It should be noted that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Azerbaijan on April 28 at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
