New Regulation on Dairy Product Sales Effective Today

The Ministry of Economy informs that starting from April 27, 2025, a new regulation on the sale of dairy products will come into effect, following changes to the Law on Trade and Services. Henceforth, dairy products will be placed in Green Shelves without milk fat substitutes, while Orange Shelves will contain dairy products that include milk fat substitutes.

Labels on the shelves will be mandatory, stating "Without Milk Fat Substitute" and "Contains Milk Fat Substitute." When purchasing dairy products, pay attention to the colors of the shelves.

For businesses that fail to ensure proper placement of dairy products according to the established regulations, administrative penalties will be imposed.
