Italy Responds to Putin's Arrest Warrant
The arrest order for the Russian President issued by the International Criminal Court in March 2023 is considered void in Italy, which falls under its jurisdiction. This was reported by the news outlet Corriere della Sera.
According to information, Italy's Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio has not yet forwarded the ICC judges' decision to the Prosecutor General of Rome so that the latter can send it to the Court of Appeals to annul the order. As a result, the order will not come into effect within Italy.
