China Denies US Claims

China has denied statements made by US officials regarding ongoing trade negotiations. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially refuted reports from Washington claiming that active consultations or an agreement on tariffs are currently happening.

Spokesperson Gao Feng clarified that there are no negotiations on tariff issues between the two countries. He emphasized that the trade war was initiated by the US and reaffirmed China's consistent position on the matter.

Beijing is prepared to defend its interests and is open to dialogue, but only on the basis of equality and mutual respect.
