Number of Applicants for Unreliable Loans Program Revealed

As of now, 3,594 applications have been approved for income tax refunds related to the servicing of unreliable loans. This was announced during a government meeting by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan.

According to her, applications started on February 1, and by March 20, payments had been made for the loan servicing of 1,896 citizens. Subsequently, 2,968 individuals applied and received post-payment for their loan servicing. “The difference will be paid on the 20th of the following month, because taxes are accounted for in the tax authority system, and we see those taxes after the 20th of the following month,” the deputy minister noted.

She also pointed out that 680 of the applicants are entering the job market for the first time. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of awareness regarding the program.
