That Ceasefire Was a Marketing Maneuver: French Foreign Minister

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot classified the one-day ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with Easter as a "marketing maneuver." He stated this to francetvinfo.fr.
"The Easter ceasefire, which Putin unexpectedly declared, was a marketing maneuver aimed at preventing Trump's expression of impatience and anger," said Jean-Noël Barrot.
It should be noted that the Easter truce lasted from April 20-21, during which Putin ordered a 24-hour halt to all military operations. However, shortly after, both Moscow and Kyiv accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
